After finishing the first container project , we all breathed a sigh of relief. We were excited to finally be finished and start to see guests enjoy our finished project. But that excitement quickly wore off and we were all three looking for the next thing! So we sat down and designed The GreenCreek Shipyard 2.0! Although the original container will always hold a special place in our hearts, this second container turned out magnificent. We took all the lessons learned from the first project and applied them during this second build. Full of amenities and fun features, the GreenCreek Shipyard 2.0 is truly one of a kind!

Purchased from the same place as the first container project, The GreenCreek Shipyard 2.0 40 foot container was delivered painted black with the windows cut out. A crane was used to place it on the poured cement piers and hang out over the long retaining wall. We took it from there and added all these fun features below.

The container is cantilevered out over a retaining wall. Under the extended portion of the container, we decided to build a small pond and add a water fall! Reece came up with this idea and we think it turned out incredible. The cascading water adds the perfect background sound to create a peaceful retreat during your stay.

To make the water feature even better, we added stepping stones that direct you to a swinging day bed strung up over the water! It hangs from the bottom of the container and is what we consider to be the BEST nap spot.

Slide open the large glass door in the bedroom or step around the corner of the deck to find this fun feature! The sunk in hammock is strung right over the waterfall which you can see below!

Walk down the steps next to the retaining wall to the entertainment yard. Here you will find a fire pit area surrounding by four, black, sturdy Adirondack chairs. Firewood is provided on the stand right next to the fire pit.

Chilly evenings are fun! Throw on your robe (provided) to walk down the steps to the raised platform surrounding the hot tub. Nothing beats a night soaking under the twinkling string lights and stars!

Purchased at a benefit auction in Lancaster, PA; I knew I wanted to include this custom built, 5 foot charcuterie board somewhere in the container. After creating our kitchen layout, I knew exactly what we could use it for! We turned the charcuterie board into a bar top by adding legs and stabilizing brackets. It's situated right by the large picture window and is now a perfect work space or dining area:)

Having a pull out couch is great if you want to sleep four people at the GreenCreek Shipyard 2.0. However, it also makes for a wonderful movie night spot! Be sure to open the couch and spend at least one evening curled up here and catching up on all of your favorite shows! Speaking from experience - it's incredible!

Lay in the King sized bed and gaze out the large picture window located at the foot of the bed! Small spaces can feel tight but large glass windows throughout the container help to open up the interior space and creates a great setting for you to enjoy your private retreat in!

Get in touch with your younger self and make use of the front porch swing! Instead of continuing the railing where it was not needed, we decided to make this spot more fun and added a wooden swing to the front of the container porch.

We LOVE coffee! and hope you do too. For each guest we provide a bag of Red Fox coffee beans, a grinder, and a full Chemex pour over set up. For those who just need the caffeine fix, we do provide a coffee maker as well;)

We provide custom designed corn hole boards for guests to use during their stay! The large graveled space next to the top end of the container is the perfect area to break out the boards for a fun game.
